Submit a 2-minute video on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or YouTube promoting #SkillsForAll.

Whether it’s your story or the story of someone who inspires you, we want to hear how skills create more positive futures. The deadline for submissions is 9 July 2017.

How do I enter?

To submit your video use #SkillsForAll on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or use the submission form.

Once reviewed and approved you will be automatically entered into the contest. The videos will be shared on our Facebook page. 

You can enter in as many videos as you like before 9 July 2017.

What happens when I win?

As the official vlogger for WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017, you will travel to Abu Dhabi, UAE to capture the WorldSkills Competition from your unique perspective. 

WorldSkills will cover your flight, hotel accommodation, ground transportation, media accreditation, and meals.

What will I do at WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017?

You’ll be part of the team!

With exclusive access to the event you will go behind the scenes to capture what it takes to put on the world’s largest skills competition. Each day you’ll produce videos on what you’ve seen, interview the people who make it happen, and be featured on all WorldSkills social media platforms.

What makes a great video?

This competition is open to anyone with an interesting perspective on #SkillsForAll. You don’t have to be a master videographer or have fancy equipment. Just a phone or camera and an interesting idea could earn you a trip to the Middle East.

A few tips:

  • Show us your outgoing, on camera skills. We are looking for personality and comfort in front of the camera.
  • Check your audio and lighting to ensure we can hear and see you and any on-camera guests.
  • Go on location. Find cool spots to capture your story.
  • Be bold and creative.
  • Have fun! Lots of it! This could be your ticket to Abu Dhabi!
