    Abilympics France will meet you for the 10th International Abylimpics, the skills Global Competition for disabled people Organised by the Abilympics France association in partnership with WorldSkills France, this major event will meet nearly 1500 participants (contestants, judges, experts...) and 50 000 visitors over 2 days, within the exhibition centre of the Metz Eurometropole. Candidates of the French Abilympics team will be 34 to represent their passions, their jobs and their country’s colours against the exceptional skills of the other participants coming from about 30 nations.

    SkillsUSA National Signing Day will be held on May 4 to celebrate high school seniors and college/postsecondary students who have chosen to pursue a career as a professional in any of the skilled trades. Local SkillsUSA chapters are encouraged to host a signing day event by inviting business partners, school administrators, teachers, elected officials, SkillsUSA alumni, family and friends to honor students signing “letters of intent” for a job offer, apprenticeship or advanced technical training.

  2. Taitaja2023 Espoo / Finnish National Skills Competition

    Over 40 skills, hundreds of competitors and tens of thousands of visitors together create Taitaja, the biggest educational event in Finland. In 2023, the event is organised by Omnia (the Joint Authority of Education in the Espoo region) together with Skills Finland and their partners. Taitaja aims to promote vocational education, improve connections between vocational schools and companies, and increase the awareness of vocational education and professional skills. The event is free of charge and open for public.

  3. Jobs Tournament Final (Yrkeskampen)

    The Jobs Tournament (Yrkeskampen) is a contest for year 8 classes aimed at highlighting vocational training courses and inspiring students to begin thinking about future training and job opportunities. The tournament focuses on vocational matters and physical hands-on assignments based on upper secondary vocational training courses offered in Sweden. On this date the national finals take place and the classes with the best results in the country compete against each other.

  4. National Skills Competition WorldSkills Croatia 2023

    From May 10 to 12, 2023, the Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education in Zagreb is organizing the National Skills Competition WorldSkills Croatia 2023, the largest educational event in the Republic of Croatia and the largest competition in this part of Europe.
    Around 400 of the best students from VET schools, accompanied and supported by their teachers, will compete in 46 Skills in an area of more than 14,000 m2 during the three days. This year, competitors from 2 new disciplines - Nutri-vita and Tourist destination - will participate in the competition and more than 10.000 visitors, including students from more than 100 elementary schools are expected to visit the competition. WorldSkills Croatia connects VET schools, numerous partners and employers. The participation of business representatives is one of the key ways to achieve the long-term goal - increasing the employability of VET students. Also, with their participation, employers contribute to social responsibility for the development of the educational system. We believe that the WorldSkills Croatia competition will remain an important link in the popularization of vocational skills and thus contribute to the Croatian education system, the economy and, ultimately, the quality of life in Croatia.

    The Skills Canada National Competition (SCNC) is an ideal way to connect with tomorrow’s workforce and to discover new and exciting careers. SCNC is the only national, multi-trade and technology competition for students and apprentices in the country. Each year, more than 550 competitors from all regions of Canada come to SCNC to participate in over 45 skilled trade and technology competitions. By providing a forum where Canadians can compete at the national level, SCNC provides hands-on experience for skilled trade and technology careers.

  2. 53rd TW National Skills Competition

    The 53rd TW National Skills Competition is set to bring together around 1000 Competitors and Juniors for 68 skills Competition at the Nangang Exhibition Center. Opening Ceremony and Closing Ceremony will take place on July 13 and July 17 respectively. And Skills Cooperation Symposium will be held during the Competition.

  3. WorldSkills ASEAN 2023

    WorldSkills ASEAN is the largest showcase of professional and technical skills in the ASEAN (The Association of Southeast Asian Nations) region and brings the objectives of the WorldSkills movement to Southeast Asia. The skills competition was initiated by an agreement among ASEAN member countries in 1993 and aims to promote and raise skills standards in the ASEAN region to an international level, as well as to motivate youths to develop their skills and knowledge. ASEAN member countries take turns to host the biennial WorldSkills ASEAN Competition. For the first time, Singapore will be hosting the 13th WorldSkills ASEAN Competition from 22-27 July 2023 at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. The competition will see top youth talents from the 10 ASEAN member countries competing in 22 skills areas. Apart from the skills competition, WorldSkills ASEAN Singapore 2023 will also feature interactive activities to promote skills and a skilled career to youths and the public.

  1. The 18th Youth Monozukuri Skills Competition of Japan

    This competition is for youths 20 years old or younger who are currently learning skills at vocational abilities development institutions, technical high schools or other such institutes of learning and have not started work. This competition was launched in 2005 for the purpose of providing them with goals and widening the horizons of young skilled workers.

  2. WorldSkills Australia National Championship

    The WorldSkills National Championships are run every two years and are Australia’s largest and most successful vocational education excellence competition. The event showcases over 60 skill categories and brings together hundreds of our nation’s best apprentices, trainees, educators, employers, and industry professionals to compete for the title of national champion in each skill category. The showcase event creates an interactive and engaging environment for tens of thousands of school aged children, their families, industry associations and employer groups. Those attending experience an un-matched variety of skilled trades and technology careers under the one roof and can watch the competitions, participate in Try-a-Skill demonstrations, and network with the hundreds of industry and educational experts.

  2. EuroSkills Gdańsk 2023

    EuroSkills Gdansk 2023 is scheduled to take place between 5-9 September 2023 at AMBEREXPO Gdańsk. Poland expects to welcome 600 skilled young professionals from 32 countries to the event to participate in competitions and host demonstration events in 43 different skills (40 official and 3 host skills). Around 100,000 visitors from across Poland and abroad are expected to attend. Gdańsk is the capital and largest city of the Pomerania Province in Poland. A popular tourist, cultural, business and academic centre, the city is Poland's principal seaport and the country's fourth-largest metropolitan area.
    EuroSkills Gdańsk 2023 will be organised in partnership by Poland’s Foundation For The Development Of The Education System (FRSE), WorldSkills Poland, the City of Gdańsk and AMBEREXPO Gdańsk.

  3. WorldSkills France - National Finals 2023

    In France, the WorldSkills Competition is prepared, relayed and coordinated by WorldSkills France and supported by several partners: national and regional public authorities, social partners, companies and training organisations. WorldSkills France organize the national Finals which lead to the creation of the French Skills Team which will defend the colors of France during the WorldSkills Competition. Through its strong involvement in the international network of WorldSkills, WorldSkills France actively contributes to enhancing the level of skills and strengthening the brand image of trades and qualifying vocational training.

  2. The 61st National Skills Competition of Japan

    The National Skills Competition is a competition in which young skilled workers age 23 or under pit their skills against each other. It is held for the purpose of encouraging the development of skilled workers of the next generation, and for having participants experience the importance and wonder of “Monozukuri”. Visitors have the opportunity to view the monozukuri process up close, something normally not possible, and be amazed and inspired. Furthermore, the National Skills Competition also serves as a qualifying event for the WorldSkills Competition.

    WorldSkills Lyon 2024 is set to take place 10-15 September 2024, following the postponement of the 46th WorldSkills Competition in Shanghai, China by one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. France won the bid to host the 47th WorldSkills Competition at WorldSkills General Assembly 2019 in Kazan, Russia.
    It is the second time for France and Lyon to be the host in the history of the international championship. The 33rd WorldSkills Competition previously took place in 1995 at EUREXPO Lyon, the same venue that will now host WorldSkills Lyon 2024.
    WorldSkills Competition Lyon 2024 is a strong commitment to youth and their future which generates unprecedented international mobilization around skills, competences and excellence.
    Despite the one-year postponement of the competition due to the pandemic, the plan to host the global competition remains the same: to inspire young people in skills, promote skills and change the perception on vocational education and training.
    WorldSkills Lyon 2024 is also a national project centered around the regions, in particular the Metropolis of Lyon. It will be THE springboard and catalyst to develop and promote professional training adapted to current and future needs in terms of employment.
    The competition and Team WorldSkills France, which both are a result of the mobilization of regions and the commitment of partners to WorldSkills France, are the first vectors of inspiration for young people and a tangible proof for the next generations of the relevance of skills and competences in a career and personal life with high potential.

    EuroSkills Herning 2025 is the ninth edition of the biennial EuroSkills Competition – the biggest vocational education and skills excellence event in Europe.

    EuroSkills Herning 2025 is scheduled to take place from 8 to 14 September 2025 at MCH Messecenter Herning, Denmark. The event will welcome more than 700 skilled young professionals under the age of 25 from 32 countries to participate in competitions and demonstrations in 40 different skills and trades. Around 100,000 visitors from across Denmark and abroad are expected to attend.

    EuroSkills Herning 2025 is organized in partnership by Denmark’s Ministry of Children and Education, Herning Municipality, the Central Jutland Region, the Danish Employers' Association, the Trade Union Movement's Main Organization, WorldSkills Denmark, and WorldSkills Europe.
