One School One Country is a cultural exchange programme that brings together children from the host country with WorldSkills Member countries and regions to share each other’s cultures and values and increase awareness about the power of vocational skills to improve lives around the world.

One School One Country was developed in 2007 by the Competition Organizers for WorldSkills Shizuoka 2007. They wanted a way for the local schools to get involved in the Competition but also experience a unique cultural exchange opportunity. Subsequent Host countries embraced the idea, each adding their own flavour:
