It’s 2024 and it’s all about the 47th WorldSkills Competition taking place later this year in France. As our Member countries and regions assemble their teams and intensify training for their Competitors, we’re working alongside our partners to deliver another fantastic world-class Competition and Conference!

WorldSkills is delighted to announce WorldSkills Conference 2024, taking place from 11 to 12 September, alongside WorldSkills Lyon 2024.

For more than a decade, WorldSkills Conference has brought together leaders in education, government, business, and industry from around the globe to share best practice and learn about global trends and issues affecting in Vocational Education and Training (VET).

WorldSkills inspires excellence. Young skilled workers from across the world enter the Competition to develop their abilities, expand their network, and push themselves at every aspect of their jobs. WorldSkills Conference harnesses those same ideals, providing a platform for our VET community to unite and address the most pressing issues of our time, and think bolder about skills development.

The aim for WorldSkills Conference 2024 is to provide the global skills community with innovative session formats, increase the opportunities to connect and engage amongst our stakeholders, and continue giving youth a central and pivoting role in all discussions.

The sessions at WorldSkills Conference 2024 will explore strategies towards a global VET agenda able to address the demographic, green, and digital transformations affecting life and work of individuals across the world. The discussions will address quality and excellence in VET, social justice, adapting VET to fragile economies and informality, skills for the green transition, and digitalization and AI.
