Happy New Year from WorldSkills International

'Twas the start of 2013, and WorldSkills was a scurry,
Not an Expert was sitting, as they're in a planning flurry,
The 42nd WorldSkills Competition soon would be here,
And the Secretariat were doing their share.

The Competitors were all training on equipment donated in-kind,
While visions of tools, codes, food and mannequins swam in their mind,
And the President in his bowler hat, and the CEO in his helicopter,
Were monitoring the Vision 2020 for the early adopters.

When off in Leipzig, Germany there arose such a clatter,
The world sprang to buy tickets and started to chatter,
Airways were buzzing with anticipation and excitement,
Thousands of people were starting a movement.

There were many things coming in 2013 giving people reason to cheer,
From branding, communications and competitions too, oh what a year!
